Charles D. Kemp Scholarships
Each year, the nonprofit PEI Foundation awards $1,000 Charles D. Kemp Scholarships to dependents of PEI member company employees.

Eligibility
An applicant must:
- Be a dependent of a full-time employee of a member company in PEI’s manufacturer, distributor, service and construction, or affiliate divisions.
- Plan to enroll as an entering full-time freshman for the 2022-2023 academic year at an accredited four-year college or university.
- Return completed application for the 2022-2023 academic to the PEI Foundation by 11:59 p.m. March 31, 2022.

The board of governors of the PEI Foundation and a Scholarship Selection Committee administer the program. Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic achievement, leadership, character, need and the applicant’s intent to contribute to the future of the petroleum and energy handling equipment industry. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, gender, disability or national origin. The PEI Foundation Board of Governors and Scholarship Selection Committee determines the number of scholarships awarded in a year.
