Micro Organism Production System (MOPS)  is the trademarked name of the complete, patent-pending PhotoBioReactor system designed by Jonathan L. Gal and assigned to Texas Clean Fuels, Inc.  

The name is intended to reflect its dual functionality. It produces microorganisms (algae), while it "MOPS Up" carbon dioxide.
