The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) has announced that applications are currently being accepted for the PEI Foundation’s Charles D. Kemp Scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic year. The scholarships recognize deserving students who are dependents of employees of member companies in PEI.
The Petroleum Equipment Institute is currently seeking comment on a new recommended practices document entitled Recommended Practices for the Design and Installation of Fueling Systems for Emergency Generators, Stationary Diesel Engines and Oil Burner Systems(PEI/RP1400).

Morrison Bros. is a leading manufacturer of petroleum equipment products used primarily at bulk storage facilities, service stations, in environmental applications and on tank trucks. Founded in Dubuque, Iowa in 1855, the company sells through distributors worldwide.

Global Light is a manufacturer of aftermarket replacement parts for the most recognized brands of gasoline pumps and barcode devices, as well as custom parts for original equipment manufacturers. Global Light is based in Cambridge, Mass.

The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) has announced that D.R. Mozeley Construction Group, Inc. and Fuelmaster Syn-Tech Systems, Inc. have joined the PEI Priority Club.
Kevin McKinney, president of McKinney Petroleum Equipment, Mobile, Ala., has been elected by the members of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) to serve as vice president of the organization, and Steve Trabilsy, president of Accurate Tank Technologies, North Aurora, Illinois, has been appointed PEI’s treasurer by the association’s Board of Directors.
Phil Farrell, president of Double Check Company, Inc., Kansas City, Mo., has been elected by the members of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) to serve as president of the organization.
Farrell has most recently served as PEI’s vice president. He was elected during the Institute's 63rd annual convention and trade show in Atlanta, Georgia, and will take office Jan. 1, 2014.

Registration is now open for the 2014 Young Executives Winter Conference, which is scheduled for Feb. 6-8, 2014, at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A kick-off dinner is slated for the evening prior, Feb. 6.
The keynote speaker for the event is Chip Madera, a professional speaker and leadership development expert.
