We offer a Basic and an Advanced petroleum equipment installer training course. Both are face-to-face. The basic course is offered at our facility or it can be done done at your facility or a meeting facility. The Advanced course is only offered at your facility. The basic course is ideal for a new-hire or someone with little or no field experience. It starts with an introduction to motor fuel distribution and moves on through terminology, tools of the trade, basic system components, introduction to NFPA 30, 30A and 70 (as it pertains to a hazardous environment). Safety is stressed throughout. The Advanced course is designed for those with at least two years experience and who will be in a supervisory or management roll. Topics include an overview of the basic course topics and then we go deeper into the "nuts and bolts" of site design, lay-out, scheduling, vendor relationships, equipment specification and project management for a petroleum installer. Custom training for small groups is also available, with abundant hands-on with various piping types, tools and site-plan reading.

Datanet offers a Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) approved 5-day UST Basic Tank Technician Course at our Owings Mills, MD training facility. This course is a pre-requisite for taking the MDE certification exam for UST Technicians. It introduces technicians to many aspects of fuel system installation and removal. Dr. John V.
