Board Election Nominations are due by June 19

Under PEI’s election procedure, an Official Representative or a duly appointed alternate must request to have his/her name included on the ballot, indicating a willingness to serve on the Board of Directors if elected. A request for your name to be included must be received by PEI not less than seven (7) days prior to the mailing of the ballots. As this is a odd-numbered year, we elect directors from odd-numbered districts plus a Service and Construction division representative.

Renkes to Retire in May

Bob Renkes, the current executive vice president and general counsel, will retire from PEI on May 31, 2017, after 38 years with the association.

A video tribute to Bob was presented during the annual membership meeting at the 2016 PEI Convention at the NACS Show in Atlanta. The video was compiled from online interviews with past presidents of PEI and photographs. As an added treat the opening monologue was recorded by Renkes' granddaughter, Jade.

One Year Later

It was one year ago today the PEI headquarters was destroyed by a devastating fire.

Fortunately no one was hurt.

Today we are building a new association headquarters on the same concrete slab where the old one stood. The projected completion date is May 2015, and we're looking forward to inviting you to our open house. Take a video tour.

It’s a new year and a new look for PEI.

A revamped website was rolled out this month with a fresh new look, new features, upgraded forums and more powerful hardware to make it all work faster.

The Polls Are Open!

Today at 11:00 AM Central Standard Time PEI sent out electronic ballots for the election of Board of Directors. This is the first time the voting process has been handled online.

An email was sent to all individuals identified as the Official Representative for PEI member companies in even-numbered districts and the Affiliate member division.

The polls are open until July 21st. If you are the Official Representative for your company and did not receive a ballot contact Teresa Jonkman at tjonkman@pei.org.

PEI’s headquarters in Tulsa, OK, experienced a fire Tuesday night, Feb. 11, 2014. Fortunately, no one was harmed. However, the building was severely damaged. By noon Wednesday, PEI staff had relocated to a temporary space.
