Automation and artificial intelligence are prompting big companies such as Walmart to retrain their workforces, according to André Dua, Liz Hilton Segel and Susan Lund in a Harvard Business Review article.
The researchers estimate only 5% of all jobs will become fully automated, but activities in nearly all jobs will evolve.
In this age of rapid technological change and disruption, companies need to retrain their workers, and it's going to take someone big to oversee retraining at such massive scale.
