Dear PEI Member:

The tabulation of ballots has been completed in the nominating election of PEI board members from our even-numbered districts and the Affiliate Division. Four members ran unopposed and already have been certified winners by the PEI Election Commission. One member received enough votes in the nominating stage of the election process to be elected to the board without a runoff election. The two nominees from Manufacturer District 10 and the Affiliate Division who received the greatest number of points now go into a runoff election. Ballots for the runoff will be emailed July 25.

Here are the election results, according to Terry Cooper, Acterra Group, Inc., Marion, Iowa, chairman of the PEI Election Commission.

Distributor District 2 - The new director is Ron Sledd, Beneficial Systems, Jetersville, Virginia. He succeeds J. Benjamin Hieber, PWI, Incorporated, New Oxford, Pennsylvania.

Distributor District 4 - The new director is Tiina McCombie, National Energy Equipment, Inc., Mississauga, Ontario. McCombie replaces Andy Mercer, R. W. Mercer Company, Jackson, Michigan.

Distributor District 6 - The new director is Mani Sundaram, Double Check Company,  Inc., Kansas City, Missouri. He succeeds Tad Cooper, Acterra Group, Inc., Marion, Iowa.

Distributor District 8 - The new director is John Farrell, D&H United Fueling Solutions, Inc., Schertz, Texas. Farrell succeeds Steve Dixon, P. B. Hoidale Company, Inc., Wichita, Kansas.

Manufacturer District 10 - The two nominees in the runoff are James Ayers, Central Illinois Mfg. Co., Bement, Illinois, and Greg McGee, PMP Corporation, Avon, Connecticut.

Manufacturer District 12 - The new director is Tim Weiss, Morrison Bros. Co., Dubuque, Iowa. Weiss replaces Brad F. Baker, Husky Corporation, Pacific, Missouri.

Affiliate Division - The two nominees in the runoff are Dwight Rutledge, Rutledge & Associates, Kingwood, Texas, and Patrick J. Vuchetich, Williams & Co. Consulting, Inc., Kansas City, Missouri.
