Dear PEI Member:

We wish you the happiest of holidays and a prosperous 2013. This photo shows the PEI staff's Christmas tradition. Each year, we exchange toys that we think fellow staff members would have enjoyed as children. Then we donate the gifts to a local charity for distribution to underprivileged children.

Does your office have a holiday tradition? We invite you to share your photos on our Facebook page.

INDIANA SEEKS COMMENTS REGARDING
REMOVAL OF STAGE II VR EQUIPMENT
The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) has published a First Notice of Comment Period concerning amendments to Indiana's rules related to Stage II gasoline vapor-recovery system requirements. The amendments would remove Stage II requirements and references from the rules in a manner consistent with U.S. EPA guidance. IDEM is requesting comment on the phase-out of the state's Stage II requirements, in particular as they relate to newly constructed or reconstructed gasoline dispensing facilities (GDFs) and GDFs that replace equipment. The comment period deadline is January 11, 2013. Direct questions about the rulemaking to Ryan Knapick at rknapick@idem.in.gov
