Union Check Valve [1]

An alternative check valve which can be installed in the piping of a suction pumping system, the purpose of which is to provide a method for stopping the loss of prime caused by a damaged foot valve [2], angle check valve [3], or vertical check valve [4] elsewhere in the system.

A union check valve can be easily inserted in the system and used until the damaged valve is repaired or replaced. It is installed in a union just beneath the dispenser.
