UL 142 Tank [1]

A welded steel vessel designed to store flammable and combustible liquids constructed according to Underwriters Laboratories [2] Standard 142 entitled, Steel Aboveground Tanks for Flammable and Combustible Liquids. 

A UL 142 tank is intended for noncorrosive, stable liquids that have a specific gravity not exceeding that of water.
