Shutoff Valve [1]

A device for interrupting the flow or air or fluid in a piping or tubing network. Shutoff valves allow portions of an air or fluid distribution network to be isolated from the rest of the system for maintenance, repair, or other purposes.

Also known as an “Isolation Valve.”
