Personal Protective Equipment [1]

Personal protective equipment is designed to protect workers from serious workplace injuries or illnesses resulting from contact with chemical, physical, electrical, mechanical or other workplace hazards. 

Examples of personal protective equipment include safety shoes, hard hats, safety glasses, coveralls, gloves, high visibility vests and respirators.
