An incentive program used by oil companies to prompt branded marketers and dealers to upgrade the physical appearance and equipment of retail outlets.

The incentives offered vary from company to company. Typically, the programs involve discounts and credits on the purchase of refined products. In some instances, the programs make available to  marketers equipment that has been purchased directly by their supplying oil company.
