Diaphragm pump [1]

An air-operated device that uses a flexible membrane to move liquids. Air pressure on one side of the membrane forces the fluid trapped in a chamber on the other side of the membrane through an outlet in the fluid chamber. A pair of check valves at the inlet and outlet of the fluid chamber control the direction of fluid flow.
