The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) has announced that applications are currently being accepted for the PEI Foundation’s Charles D. Kemp Scholarships for the 2012-2013 academic year. The scholarships recognize deserving students who are dependents of employees of member companies in PEI.
Speaking to members and officers of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI), Robert Renkes, executive vice president of the organization, presented a positive overview of 2011-2012 and expressed optimism in the future of the petroleum equipment industry.
Terry Cooper, president of Acterra Group, Inc., Marion, Iowa, has been elected by the members of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) to serve as president of the organization.
Cooper has most recently served as PEI’s vice president. He was elected during the Institute's 62nd annual convention and trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will take office January 1, 2013.
Phil Farrell, president of Double Check Company, Inc., Kansas City, Mo., has been elected by the members of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) to serve as vice president of the organization, and Kevin McKinney, president of McKinney Petroleum Equipment, Mobile, Ala., has been appointed PEI’s treasurer by the association’s Board of Directors.
The public comment period is now open for review and revision of the Petroleum Equipment Institute’s RP1300, Recommended Practices for the Design, Installation, Service, Repair and Maintenance of Aviation Fueling Systems.
The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) has announced the availability of a new online CNG Fueling Station Design and Construction course. The course is designed for companies interested in designing and building natural gas fueling stations, equipment providers, oil marketers and those involved in permitting CNG stations.
Registration is now open for the 2013 Young Executives Winter Conference, which is scheduled for Feb. 6-8, 2013, at Sand Key Resort in Tampa/Clearwater Beach, Florida. A kick-off dinner is slated for the evening prior, Feb. 6.
