In addition to serving four terms as an elected member of the PEI board of directors, Ward has served as the association’s treasurer and vice president and on the association's Education and Convention Committees. Ward is a current member of the Strategic/Long-Range Planning Committee and Exchange 10-Group.
“Peter has been an active advocate for the Petroleum Equipment Institute and its activities for many years and, as such, will make a great president,” said Robert Renkes, PEI’s Executive Vice President. “We look forward to welcoming Peter to his new position and are convinced that his time as president will provide long-term benefits for PEI and its member companies.”
In addition to his work as a PEI board and committee member, Ward has been president of Glasgow Equipment Service since 1979. The company, formed in 1952 by Guy Glasgow, was acquired by his father, David Ward in 1974.
