PEI SELECTS 2018 OFFICERS [1]

CHICAGO, Oct. 19, 2017/Petroleum Equipment Institute/ -- Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) members elected Oscar W. Larson Co. President Charlie Burns vice president of the organization, effective Jan. 1. The association's board of directors also appointed as treasurer Bill Mascott, president of Mascott Equipment, effective immediately.
“Charlie and Bill will accomplish great things for PEI as they have for their companies,” said Rick Long, executive vice president and general counsel of PEI. “An association is only as strong as its members, and I’m very proud to say these two are on our team."
Burns, of Clarkston, Michigan, most recently served as PEI treasurer and was elected during the institute’s 67th annual convention and trade show in Chicago. He is a former member of PEI Young Executives and the PEI Convention and Education Committee. He also served as chairman of the PEI Safety Committee. His company, the Oscar W. Larson Co., is a petroleum equipment sales, installation and service company with locations in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
Mascott, of Portland, Oregon, was appointed Tuesday by the PEI board of directors as the association’s new treasurer. He previously served two terms on the board of directors and is on the association's insurance committee.
