PEI Selects 2013 Officers [1]

Phil Farrell, president of Double Check Company, Inc., Kansas City, Mo., has been elected by the members of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) to serve as vice president of the organization, and Kevin McKinney, president of McKinney Petroleum Equipment, Mobile, Ala., has been appointed PEI’s treasurer by the association’s Board of Directors.

Farrell most recently served as PEI’s treasurer and was elected during the Institute's 62nd annual convention and trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Farrell will take office Jan. 1, 2013. McKinney assumes office immediately.

Farrell has served as the president of Double Check since 1980. Founded in 1965, Double Check is a distributor of petroleum, car wash and lubrication equipment, and industrial pumps. The company has six offices throughout Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. Farrell has served on PEI’s Convention/Education Committee, Executive Committee and the PEI Board of Directors. He is a member of the Republic 10-Group.

McKinney has served as the president of McKinney Petroleum Equipment since 2004. Founded in 1933, McKinney Petroleum Equipment is a distributor of petroleum and industrial equipment with a marketing area that includes Alabama, the Florida panhandle and southeast Mississippi. McKinney Petroleum Equipment represents more than 50 manufacturers of equipment used in petroleum marketing. McKinney has served on the PEI Board of Directors and is a current member of the Commonwealth 10-Group.
