Submitted by jessica on
The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) has announced that online testing for the Recommended Practices for the Installation of Marina-Fueling Systems (PEI/RP1000) is now available.
The test, developed by the PEI Marina-Fueling Systems Installation Committee, contains 70 comprehensive questions and can be accessed through www.pei.org/RP1000. Two purchase options are available, including $25 for single tests and $299 for unlimited one-year use of all PEI produced recommended practice tests. Online tests are available for each PEI recommended practice document.
PEI/RP1000 represents the first industry standard describing how to construct a marina-fueling facility. The recommended practices document offers recommendations for materials, designs, and installation procedures suitable for a wide variety of environments, including fresh and salt water, still and moving water, as well as stable, tidal, and fluctuating water levels. The RP1000 online test covers the document in its entirety.
For more information about the PEI testing program, contact PEI at info@pei.org or
