PEI HIRES TOM LEIBRANDT AS ADVERTISING SALES DIRECTOR [1]

TULSA, Oklahoma, Feb. 12, 2019/Petroleum Equipment Institute/ -- Publishing sales veteran Tom Leibrandt joined the PEI staff as advertising sales dirctor, the association announced. He began Feb. 5.
Leibrandt replaced Dana Roseberry, advertising sales director at PEI for 17 years, who retired in December. Leibrandt is responsible for all print and digital advertising sales in the PEI Journal, PEI Directory, “PEI Business Bullet” and “News From PEI,” as well as conference and event sponsorships and Priority Club memberships.
“Tom is available as a resource to all PEI members,” said Rick Long, executive vice president at PEI. “He’s a media consultant with many years of experience, and he uses stats and data to inform clients what their best ROI will be on advertising. From there, they work together to customize plans for the most brand recognition, exposure and returns.”
Leibrandt’s experience includes international publishing and trade shows for highly regulated industries. He spent 14 years as a global sales manager at PennWell Corp., where he worked on electricity generation, transmission and distribution magazines Electric Light & Power, Powergrid International and Renewable Energy World.
Before that, Leibrandt worked six years as director of sales and marketing for restaurant guide publications and launched Tulsa Gourmet magazine.
He has a Bachelor of Occupational Studies from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
