Cheek Elected 2012 President of PEI [1]

Joey Cheek, president of JMP Solutions, Inc., Tampa, Fla., has been elected by the members of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) to serve as president of the organization. He has most recently served as PEI’s vice president. Cheek was elected during the Institute's 61st annual convention and trade show in Chicago, Ill., and will take office January 1, 2012.
Cheek has served as the president of JMP Solutions since 2003. Founded in 1963, JMP Solutions provides sales, service, installation, design, engineering and fuel facility construction of C-Stores, service stations, car care centers, fuel depots and garage facilities. Cheek has served as chairman of the PEI Convention/Education Committee, on the PEI Board of Directors and the PEI Executive Committee. He is currently a member of the Pioneer 10-Group and the Installation of Underground Liquid Storage Systems (RP100) Committee.
Cheek replaces Dennis Rethmeier, president of Western Pump, Inc., San Diego, Calif., as president of PEI.
