The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) is seeking an experienced Meetings and Exhibition Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing and facilitating all aspects of meeting planning from budgeting, site selection, vendor negotiation, contracts, meeting room specifications and post-event reporting. This includes working on multiple conferences and events simultaneously and soliciting sponsorships for various PEI functions. This position also coordinates exhibit sales for the PEI Convention at the NACS Show.
Qualifications and skills required (abbreviated list):
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of related work experience
- Understanding of meeting industry terminology, meeting planning, tradeshows and registration processes
- Customer service and/or sales experience
The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) is seeking an experienced professional to serve as Manager of Technical Programs and Industry Affairs. This position is responsible for guiding the development of recommended industry practices, providing assistance to PEI members on technical issues and advising on environmental, health, and safety matters. Responsibilities include working with various PEI Recommended Practices committees and the PEI Safety Committee, preparing and presenting summary information on environmental, health, and safety compliance issues, and working with regulators and industry consultants.
Qualifications and skills required (abbreviated list):
- Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred
- 10 years of related work experience, technical background preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate safety, best practices and technical information to a variety of constituents
