PEI is seeking a talented professional to serve as Manager of Technical Programs and Industry Affairs. This position is responsible for guiding the development of recommended industry practices, providing assistance to PEI members on technical issues and advising on environmental, health, and safety matters. Responsibilities include working with various PEI Recommended Practices committees and the PEI Safety Committee, preparing and presenting summary information on environmental, health, and safety compliance issues, and working with regulators and industry consultants.
Qualifications and skills required:

Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred
· 10 years of related work experience, technical background preferred and retail fueling experience a plus
·
Ability to effectively communicate safety, best practices and technical information to a variety of constituents
·
Proficient in Microsoft Office
·
Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously
·
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
·
Extremely detail oriented with strong analytical skills
·
Good time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
·
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
·
Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions and with association partners
·
Ability to travel as needed
