The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) is accepting "mentor" and "mentee" applications for PEI Connect, its free mentoring program.
“We’re excited to offer PEI Connect to such a wide range of individuals interested in the fuel and fluid handling industry,” said Robert Renkes, executive vice president of PEI. “We've learned that the best way for members to learn is not necessarily based in the classroom, but by fostering one-on-one relationships with other members. This program will make widely available what PEI has offered informally for decades."
PEI Connect offers individual PEI members an opportunity to maximize personal and career potential by establishing deep and trusting professional relationships with others in the industry. The program provides newer members, or "mentees," the opportunity to develop one-on-one relationships with more experienced members, or "mentors," to learn about the industry, develop business skills, and set other career goals.
PEI established the program to expand the industry knowledge base, improve business relationships and create opportunities for participation in and service to PEI and the industry. PEI Connect welcomes all PEI member company employees and individual Operations and Engineering (O&E) members of PEI.
