ICC Testing to be Offered at 2011 PEI Convention

The Petroleum Equipment Institute has announced that the International Code Council (ICC) will offer ICC certification testing at the 2011 PEI Convention at the NACS Show. The testing will take place on October 2 and 3, 2011 at the McCormick Place Convention Center.

Tests to be offered at the PEI Convention include UST Installation/Retrofitting, Decommissioning, Underground Tank/Piping Tightness Testing and Cathodic Protection. ICC will also offer certification testing for AST Installation/Retrofitting and Class A and Class B UST System Operator.

State-specific UST exams to be offered include Colorado UST Operator Class A and B; Georgia System Operator; Maryland Class A and B UST System Operator; New Hampshire Class A and B UST System Operator; Vermont Class A and B UST System Operator; and Wisconsin Class A and B UST System Operator. Each test will cost $75 and pre-registration applications are due to ICC by September 2.

Two testing sessions will be held each day; at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Registration for the 9:00 session begins at 8:00 a.m. and at noon for the 1:00 testing session. Walk-in testing is available, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Testing is limited to 60 candidates per seating and candidates are strongly encouraged to pre-register to confirm seating availability. Registrants may take up to four exams. The PEI Convention at the NACS Show 2011 will be held October 1-4, 2011 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago. Convention registration is $395 for PEI and NACS members and $595 for all other attendees. Registration includes admission to all PEI sponsored educational sessions, the Trade Show, the PEI Industry Reception and NACS Welcome Reception. For companies registering five or more for full registration, PEI offers additional discounts. This year, spouses qualify for group registration.
