Cooper has served as the president of Acterra Group since 1998. Founded in 1958, Acterra Group provides sales, installation and service of all equipment used in service stations, bulk plants, terminals, airports, industrial fueling facilities and convenience stores. He is a member of the Continental 10-Group.

Cooper replaces Joey Cheek, president of JMP Solutions, Inc., Tampa, Fla., as president of PEI.
