Bond to Keynote PEI Convention Kickoff Breakfast

Walter Bond, former professional basketball player and now dynamic motivational speaker, will serve as the keynote presenter for the 2013 Kick-Off Breakfast at the PEI Convention, Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, in Atlanta, Ga.

Like many young men growing up in Chicago, Bond dreamed of becoming an NBA athlete. Facing injuries and other challenges with unusual determination, he rose from being a reserve player coming off the bench to become the first rookie Free Agent to start for the Dallas Mavericks. This astonishing journey provides the foundation for the powerful principles Bond teaches today.

Bond attributes his success to the power of accountability. He is known as “Mr. Accountability” because he compels listeners to take personal responsibility for their current situations. Then he reveals how to use the power of accountability to turn self-limiting beliefs into self-empowering strategies.

Drawing on lessons learned in the trenches both in sales and as an entrepreneur, Bond’s presentations open up new ways of looking not only at business challenges but also the world. His stories give listeners a roadmap to recover the confidence they need to focus, align and deliver results.

The PEI Kick-off Breakfast will be held Sunday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 a.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center. Tickets for the Kick-off Breakfast can be purchased ($30) on the PEI website at www.pei.org/show or by calling PEI at 918-236-3967.
