the Second Quarter 2010 Issue of the PEI Journal is Now Online

The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) has announced that the online version of the Second Quarter 2010 issue of the PEI Journal is now available at www.peijournal.org

The PEI Journal is the premier source of business, industry and association news for the petroleum and energy handling industry. Published quarterly, the PEI Journal features in-depth coverage of emerging trends and new products, as well as profiles of PEI member companies and other movers and shakers in the industry. The 2Q issue features three special articles on convenience stores and other petroleum marketers. "When E15 Comes: How Will Retailers Respond?” provides an in-depth analysis of the practical effects of mid-grade ethanol blends on the petroleum equipment industry. In "The Future of Convenience Stores," NACS president and CEO Hank Armour offers his insightful take on what’s ahead for the nation’s 144,000 convenience stores. Finally, "What do Petroleum Marketers Want from PEI Members?" explores the crucial relationship between the petroleum marketer and PEI members.

The online magazine at www.peijournal.org presents the full content and graphics of the printed magazine in a user-friendly web interface with an easy-to-navigate table of contents, live website links and a helpful search feature.

“The online version of the PEI Journal is the perfect complement to our rapidly growing print magazine,” said Rick Long, general manager of PEI and managing editor of the magazine. “With two versions to choose from, readers can access the content in whatever medium they prefer. Advertisers benefit, as well—because their beautiful display ads become live links and reach an even larger audience in the online version.”

As a benefit of PEI membership, all PEI members receive a complimentary subscription to the print edition of the PEI Journal. Additional annual subscriptions are available to members for $49.00 and non-members for $129.00. The online version at www.peijournal.org may be viewed by members and non-members alike, free of charge.
