The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) has updated its digital experience with the introduction of a new, free mobile app for smartphones and tablets.
Readers will instantly notice a crisp, contemporary design that’s easy to navigate and built entirely with PEI members in mind.
“Our members are consuming content on all sorts of devices,” said Rex Brown, director of information services for PEI. “The new app delivers essential PEI event information, publications and news right to their devices.”
The new app, which debuts just in time for the 2014 PEI Convention at the NACS Show, includes several links that will assist the convention-goer. In addition to the tradeshow floorplan, users can view the convention attendee list, download session handouts, view exhibitor information and preview sessions, events, and speakers.
The app will be updated for each major PEI sponsored event, including the Young Executives Winter Conference, PEI Women Conference and Service and Construction Managers Conference. In addition, the app will include general use links to member news, PEI publications and the PEI Directory.
Android users can find the free app on Google Play by searching for “PEI.” iPhone and iPad users can download it from Apple’s App Store. The app can also be downloaded by texting PEI2014 to 99000.
