PEI promotes Teresa Farmer to Membership Manager

TULSA, Oklahoma, May 21, 2018/Petroleum Equipment Institute/ -- PEI members and potential members will interact with a familiar voice and face as former administrative assistant Teresa Farmer fills the membership manager role after Carletta Denison’s recent retirement.

Farmer is responsible for recruiting PEI members, explaining member benefits and fostering member interaction and opportunities, among many other duties.

"Teresa is the kind, thoughtful employee everyone wants on their staff,” said Rick Long, executive vice president and general counsel of PEI. “Our members will love getting to know her better, and I know she’s excited to see how PEI operates on the membership side. Please join me in congratulating Teresa on her promotion.”

Farmer began working at PEI in July 2012 and has held both financial and administrative roles.

“I’ve really enjoyed the transition into membership for many reasons, but the biggest one would have to be the one-on-one interaction with our current and potential members,” Farmer said. “This industry is composed of some pretty top-notch individuals that I now have the privilege of getting to know personally.”

Farmer is married to a retired professional musician turned accountant and has five children. Her life outside the office revolves around lacrosse, soccer, choir and music.
