PEI Launches Text Alert Service

The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) has improved its digital experience with the introduction of a new text alert service for mobile phones.

The service will provide users with real-time industry and association news via PEI 10-Groups, PEI Young Executives and PEI Women, as well as general industry news.

“We encourage everyone to sign up for text alerts from PEI to get real-time information of importance,” said Bob Renkes, executive vice president of PEI. “The new service delivers essential PEI event information and industry news right to their mobile phones.”

The text alert service, which debuts just in time for the 2016 PEI Young Executive Winter Conference in South Padre Island, Texas, will provide users with event information and links to important downloads. To sign up for the text alert service, visit www.pei.org/texts

“We see this being replicated for all major PEI events, including the upcoming PEI Purchasing and Inventory Conference and the annual PEI Convention at the NACS Show,” added Renkes.

The service is available to all mobile phone users in the United States and Canada. Standard message and text rates may apply.
