McKinney Elected President of PEI

Kevin McKinney, president of McKinney Petroleum Equipment, Mobile, Ala., has been elected by the members of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) to serve as president of the organization.

McKinney has most recently served as PEI’s vice president. He was elected during the Institute's 64th annual convention and trade show in Las Vegas, and will take office Jan. 1, 2015.

McKinney has served as the president of McKinney Petroleum Equipment since 2004. Founded in 1933, McKinney Petroleum Equipment is a distributor of petroleum and industrial equipment with a marketing area that includes Alabama, the Florida panhandle and southeast Mississippi. McKinney Petroleum Equipment represents more than 50 manufacturers of equipment used in petroleum marketing. McKinney has served on the PEI Board of Directors and is a current member of the Commonwealth 10-Group.

McKinney replaces Phil Farrell, president of Double Check Company, Inc., Kansas City, Mo., as president of PEI.
