HOUSING OPENS FOR 2017 PEI CONFERENCE AT NACS SHOW

TULSA, Oklahoma, May 8, 2017/Petroleum Equipment Institute/ -- Registration opens May 22 for the 2017 PEI Convention at the NACS Show, but attendees who want the best hotel rooms are booking them now through Connection Housing.

"If you’re coming to the PEI Conference, you should book your hotel room now — and only though our official housing company, Connection Housing,” said Sarah West, convention director at PEI. “The PEI Conference at the NACS Show has become so large that the best rooms fill up fast.”

The official hotels with PEI discounted rates are:

  • PEI HQ: Hyatt Regency McCormick Place (connected to convention center)

2233 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive

  •  Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile (4.9 miles from convention center)

540 N. Michigan Ave.

  • Palmer House Hilton (4.2 miles from convention center)

17 E. Monroe St.

  • W Chicago Lakeshore (4.9 miles from convention center)

644 N. Lakeshore Drive

“Our four host hotels should please everyone,” West said. “The PEI headquarters hotel is as close as you can get to the convention center. If you’re into shopping, you can stay on the Magnificent Mile. If you want a great spa, museums and Navy Pier, you can stay at the W. And if you prefer something historic and ornate in the theater district, you can stay at the Palmer House.”

Show attendees may reserve housing several ways:

  1. Online.
  2. Email this housing form to nacshousing@connectionshousing.com.
  3. Fax this housing form to 678-228-1920.
  4. Call 866-983-6227 or 404-842-0000.

Attendees who make housing reservations should indicate they are with the PEI housing block, West said. She also warned of illegitimate housing companies.

“In past years, attendees have received calls from people who said they are with a PEI or NACS contracted housing company. Please hang up if this happens,” she said. “The only housing company PEI trusts to make 2017 PEI Convention housing registrations is Connections Housing. The safest way to ensure your housing request is to contact Connections Housing yourself through one of the four ways we’ve outlined.”

Registration for the PEI Conference at the NACS Show will open May 22. For more information, visit www.pei.org/show.
