Dan Thurmon to Keynote Convention Kickoff Breakfast

Performance expert Dan Thurmon has been announced as keynote speaker for the 2010 Kick-off Breakfast at the PEI Convention, October 6. The PEI Convention will take place October 6-8, 2010, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Thurmon is the author of two books and a recognized expert in delivering peak performances. As president of Motivation Works, Inc., he has worked with hundreds of clients and delivered thousands of presentations worldwide.

Thurmon began his performance career at eleven years old, crafting a one-man-show incorporating comedy, juggling and acrobatics. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Marketing and Management and has extensively studied Personal Development. 

As a speaker, Thurmon has spoken to several Fortune 500 companies, young audiences, and troops on the front lines of Afghanistan and Iraq. He has appeared on national television, including The Late Show with David Letterman.

Registration is now for the PEI Convention at the NACS Show 2010. Early registration rates are $275 for PEI and NACS members and $425 for all other attendees. This rate is valid through August 31, 2010. Full convention registration includes admission to educational sessions, Expo for all three days, the PEI Industry Reception and NACS Welcome Reception. Educational sessions presented by PEI will address industry issues such as legislative initiatives that affect small businesses, the future of the oil industry, ethanol, social media and the economy.
