Bruce F. Larson Elected 2008 President of PEI

Larson, who has been a PEI board member for two terms, Vice President in 2007 and Treasurer before that, was elected during the Institute’s annual convention at the NACS Show, which was held this year at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.

“Bruce has been an active advocate for the Petroleum Equipment Institute and its activities for many years and, as such, will make a great president,” said Robert Renkes, PEI’s Executive Vice President. “We look forward to welcoming Bruce to his new position and are convinced that his time as president will provide long-term benefits for PEI and its member companies.”

In addition to his work as a PEI board member, Larson has served on PEI’s Safety Committee, Contract Committee and is a member of the Republic 10-Group. Larson is also past president of the Detroit Oilmen’s Club and a member of the Airline Pilots Association, the Michigan Petroleum Association’s ad hoc UST Committee, and the State of Michigan ad hoc Hydrogen Handling and Storage Committee.

Bruce and his wife Pat reside in White Lake and have two daughters, Kelly and Stacy, and a grandson, Maximus.
