What Are You Saying Without Knowing It?

Calling all PEI Women members or those interested in joining!

A special event is planned for you at the 2015 PEI Convention at the NACS Show. Janine Driver, a specialist in reading body language, is the featured speaker. Janine is a retired federal law enforcement officer for the Department of Justice. If you consider that while working in the field, her "clients" were skinheads, firearms traffickers and other unseemly characters, you can see why she needed to be able to size people up quickly. And she can do just that--in less than 7 seconds!

You may not work with skinheads (hopefully not!), but you do work in a world where misreading others or sending non-verbal messages that don't match your intent can be damaging. Getting it right is the sweet spot, where relationships are built, reputations are born, money is made and business grows!

Janine will give you REAL tools to put YOU in the “Driver’s Seat.” You'll learn how to:

  • Recognize how and why the 6 human needs are showing up as toxic behavior in yourself and others--and create a 7-second quick fix;
  • Exercise appropriate body language and increase the level of respect people have for you while achieving your mission together;
  • Adapt your verbal collaboration ideas and confrontation techniques to the situation at hand to build successful teams while avoiding harming relationships;
  • Laugh at how easy it is to improve your performance by 25% or more simply by giving your visual and auditory information channels a tune-up!

Following Janine's presentation, there will be plenty of time to network with other PEI Women. Be sure to plan your travel to make this special event. It will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Sunday, October 11, 2:00-3:30 p.m. There is no extra charge--admission is included in your registration for the PEI Convention at the NACS Show.
