Two New Safety Resources

This week PEI added two new resources to the ever-growing library of safety posters and Dos & Don'ts. Both the new additions deal with confined space entry and detection of combustible gases.

Either of these make great workplace reminders to post in public spaces or include with employee paychecks. Like the dozens of other flyers, these are available to members as free PDF downloads from our safety resources page.

Workplace Drug Testing 

Reasonable suspicion? Probable cause? Who can test whom? This chart shows the laws by state.    Click for ACLU chart regulation, and many states have enacted provisions imposing drug-testing restrictions of various kinds.Since there is no comprehensive federal drug-testing law, this leaves the field open to state regulation, and many states have enacted provisions imposing drug-testing restrictions of various kinds.
